Chubb

UTC Fire and Security was in the planning stages of rebranding to the Chubb identity (A Subsidiary of UTC) when they approached AGI. This project would consist of over 700 vehicles, (ranging in various years, makes and models) all scattered throughout the nation in approximately 50 locations. AGI has been a trusted partner with UTC, providing graphics for Otis and Carrier, for almost fifteen years and was the obvious resource for the project.

“We have  such a long relationship with UTC that when they called and asked us to handle the upcoming rebrand, we were ready to go and excited to help.” explains Roger B. McPeek, Director of AGI.  “A project with this many vehicles and locations harmonizes perfectly with our proven rebranding systems and procedures.  With this many locations to be completed in a timely manner it would have been no small undertaking for many companies. Our Logistics teams and installation networks planned for this project for several weeks to facilitate a quick turn” McPeek explains. Nearly 500 vehicles were re-branded in the first two weeks of the project (removal and re-installation).

AGI dedicated select members of their Logistics team to handle daily correspondence w/branch managers and installation teams. AGI’s Logistic teams helped to ensure the project was completed smoothly and on time, while providing weekly status updates for client review. All the preliminary planning and preparation paid off in dividends, as AGI’s team quickly started converting all acquired vehicles to the newly branded Chubb graphics package. “The re-branding process is something that just doesn’t happen overnight. Coordinating the removals with the installations is a process that can’t be rushed; however, with proper staffing, planning and proven systems in place we assure our clients the completion of these re-branding projects in a timely manner”, explains Nate Nale, Sales Logistics of AGI.
