Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much do graphics cost?
A: There are a lot of variables that affect the cost of graphics. The type of material required, quantity, method of manufacturing, anticipated durability, etc., all impact the price of graphics. Associated Graphics can customize a fleet graphic process that meets your budget and exceeds your expectations. The best way to develop an accurate cost is to have one of our representatives evaluate your needs and objectives and provide you with an accurate, cost-of-project solution for your specific needs.

Q: What are the graphics made of?
A: There are three primary types of graphic substrates: non-reflective vinyl, calendared vinyl, and reflective material. Each has a specific purpose and durability. We’ll work with you to identify the correct material for your image and durability expectations. Each product has a pre-coated adhesive on the back for application to your vehicle.

Q: Why should I use vinyl graphics instead of paint?
A: Vinyl is more durable than paint. Vinyl can be removed at the end of a vehicle’s life cycle, eliminating the need to paint over existing painted graphics. Vinyl graphics are, typically, more cost-effective than painted graphics and can be applied in a fraction of the time.

Q: Who installs the graphics?
A: Associated Graphics has the most extensive, experience in our industry. We travel anywhere vehicles are located, and, using the latest techniques and procedures, apply your graphics promptly. Associated Graphics can also remove any existing graphics, if needed.

Q: How long do vinyl graphics last?
A: Your graphics can last up to eight or nine years, depending on the material used and method of manufacturing. AGI will work with you to determine durability expectations and engineer your program to exceed your durability requirements.

Q: Do I have to provide a design in order for you to make my graphics?
A: You can, but you don’t have to. We have the most recognized, in-house design team for fleet graphics in our industry. Using our state-of-the-art design resources, as well as a database of nearly 4,000 vehicle and equipment specifications, we can easily adapt an image based on the actual vehicle or equipment on which the image is to be applied. You may need to provide digital files, logos, or images that you wish to incorporate. Your Associated Graphics representative can give you file specifications to ensure your images are properly reproduced.

Q: How do I know that what I’m buying is going to look good once it’s applied?
A: Prior to production of any new items, we provide full-size line art, color matches, “LIVE” proofs, etc., for your review and approval. These elements can be placed on the actual vehicle or equipment in order to evaluate size, proportions, color, etc. AGI will not produce any items until we receive proper client approvals to ensure you know exactly what the finished product will look like before it is produced.

Q: What are your payment terms?
A: Our standard terms are 50% before production of art files and 50% 30 days after installation is completed. We will work with you to determine which options would work best for your situation.

Q: What if I don’t need all of my graphics at once? Do you make them all at once and then ship them to me?
A: We pride ourselves on our fulfillment systems. We can produce inventory and distribute your graphics all over the world from our light and humidity-controlled warehouse. We will manufacture your graphics according to any contracted quantities and then ship your graphics to you, your OEM, up-fitter, an off-site facility, or wherever you have specified to AGI.

Q: How do I order graphics or release them from inventory?
A: Initially, graphics are ordered with a signed quote and/or purchase order from you. Subsequent orders can be placed via fax, email, mail, or on-line. All on-line orders are created using a dedicated, password-protected client section on our website.
